As a pianist and a weaver, I can say this: when I am stressed or upset, there are only two things that can one hundred percent clear my mind and bring me to peace, sitting at my piano and sitting at my loom.
I think for me its both the rhythm and the focus on the hands. They say that if you are dreaming and find yourself lucid, looking at your hands will keep you in that lucid dreaming state. Maybe there is a connection there.</description>
