I’ve had work selected for two exhibitions:

Banks Mill Winter Open Studio Event -

• Friday, 21 November: 5pm-8pm
• Saturday, 22 November: 10am-5pm
• Sunday, 23 November: 11am-4pm

This is a selling exhibition for Creative Businesses resident at Banks Mill, Derby, UK or Associate Members.

Hove Museum and Art Gallery – Contemporary Craft to Go

• 1 November 2008 to 4 January 2009

This is also a selling exhibition with a couple of shopping events where you can buy the exclusive design led crafts at a 5% discount.  The two events are: Thursday 6 November, 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Sunday 7 December, 12:00 to 2:00pm.

Well, I can’t tell you just how excited I am, but I’ve been selected to exhibit at 100% Design in London. I’m going with Design Factory, who put forward the names of 20 designer makers and 11 were chosen, mine included!

100% Design is London’s premier Interiors show, where Interior Designers, Architects Specifiers, Builders, etc. and the public can come and see your work. It runs from Thursday 18 September to Sunday 21September.

The only down side is that I have to design the pieces I’m showcasing to a set colour swatch of greens, still it’ll give me a challenge.

I heard, just before Christmas, that I had been selected to exhibit at the Contemporary Craft Fair, Bovey Tracey in Devon.

This prestigious fair is organised by the Devon Guild of Craftsmen from Friday 6 June to Sunday 8 June  2008.  It’s by selection only and is usually over subscribed, so I was very lucky to get a stand.

I will be taking my panels, cushions, rugs, throws and a new range of scarves.  These will all be for sale, but you will be able to commission also.
