Here are the samples of silk that I dyed for my commission. I’m very pleased
with the colours and am looking forward to the weaving. In the image you will see the dyed silk samples alongside the slice of the Tea Light image, a colour study and a swatch of the sofa fabric

I’ve been doing some custom dyeing. I wanted some gold in the weave for the cushions so spent yesterday afternoon dyeing silk samples to get the colour I wanted.
It’s been lovely to see the colours glow on the silk, like gold!
